Andre Darbyshire is a young man selling newspapers to earn a living, often staying in corners, booths, or at the side of railway stations selling newspapers. He is persistent, hard-working, good at his job, a very persuasive and enthusiastic seller, but also quite the talker. Despite this, he is somewhat socially awkward whenever he is in more casual conversations with people he does not know. He is quite smart but also very naive, willing to do anything that makes his life better.
