Niko's parents are both otaku. They were very proud that Niko was an otaku like them. But Niko is bullied by his friends at school because he is an otaku. He talks a lot and his eyes light up with excitement only when someone talks about Yu-Gi-Oh or anime. Niko ignores all the bullying.
