NAV - Nemzeti Ado is a central administrative and armed security service that performs its tasks as a central budgetary authority through its central and territorial bodies. Established on January 1, 2011, by Act CXXII of 2010 (hereinafter NAV Act) through the merger of the approximately 15,000-strong Tax and Financial Control Authority (APEH) and the approximately 7,000-strong Customs and Financial Guard.
