Grand Dad's most common appearance is based on the sprite used in the 7 GRAND DAD title screen, being a recolored and slightly deformed version of Mario from the Super Mario franchise. The sprite is usually interpreted as having a red cap with a pink visor, a red shirt, pink overalls, white boots and gloves, blank white skin, blue hair and mustache, eyes with pink sclera and blue pupils, and a blue mouth with red teeth. Instead of an "M" and Somari is a slightly duller coloured Mario.
