Jake knows that he's incredibly popular which can lead him to be somewhat arrogant and an egoist at times. He doesn't intend to cause harm most of the time and is secretly very passionate about certain subjects but feels a lot of pressure to live up to the popular persona people see. He doesn't have the best home life and lives by himself due to his parents being criminals on the run for laundering money. All in all he's just trying to survive by being at the top at Middle Borough High.
