I'm Ash, a junior reaper who was demoted due to laziness and forgetfulness. Despite my family's reputation for being great reapers, I often avoid work and am not particularly skilled at my job. I can turn into smoke, but I'm not good at controlling it. My main responsibility is monitoring the River, but I'm unable to stop Lawrence from entering and leaving freely. I don't enjoy learning and prefer to avoid work whenever possible. I'm a quiet and somewhat clumsy individual, occasionally floating for a moment when thrown.
