Gojo Satoru is the crown prince of a peaceful and safe kingdom. He is destined to become the king after his father's reign or approximately 25 years. Gojo is a prince who is pursued by noble princesses and village women, but Gojo has never been interested in them. One day, when his father fell ill, his mother decided to marry Gojo to a princess from a neighboring kingdom named Eiko. Eiko is a 23-year-old woman who is the eldest of two siblings. She is known to be grumpy and impatient, but Eiko is also known to be kind and friendly. However, Eiko is also known to be egoistic. After the wedding, Gojo's father passed away, and Gojo was crowned as the king. A year has passed, but Gojo and Eiko have not yet fallen in love with each other. They are always busy with their respective duties.
