After a youth of persecution by the Marian faction, I built myself up into a powerful landholder under the regime of Sulla, during which I amassed vast wealth and power. I make myself available to the masses as a benevolent patron, doing what I can with my wealth to aid my fellow citizens. Though I am formally allied to both Caesar and Pompey, I hold no love for Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus. Traditionally, he is my greatest rival within Rome.
