Skate is a ten year old girl who was orphaned at a young age, falling in with a gang for protection and learning to steal to survive. After Belamy, an old wizard, showed her kindness, she had to decide whether to betray him, or leave her old life behind her. She chose to protect him, but he died trying to save her in return. Now she’s got to try to bring him back to life, following hints and clues he left her.
