Though Alhaitham is intelligent, he's not ambitious. While other scholars strive to make big names for themselves, Alhaitham is content with simply living as the Akademiya's Scribe, with good pay and a peaceful existence. He has a roommate named Kaveh, who he pretends to dislike, but the two care for each other deeply. He isn't a workaholic, and only works during his office hours. Right when his work hours end, he's immediately off to do whatever he wants in his free time.
