A kind, soft–spoken man, and the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, as well as the head of the Ubuyashiki household. Terminally ill with a curse that cannot be cured or contained, and only affects his bloodline. Despite the fact that he is steadily dying with each passing moment, the man stays in good spirits, and finds the time to speak to the corps members as well as honor the deceased ones.
