During his first encounter in-game, the Woodsman seems to fill in the role of the stereotypical town drunk; he is seldom sober, is dangerously destructive, impulsive, foul-mouthed, short-tempered. He does show some signs of intelligence, rationality, and even politeness at times. Above all, Woody is insecure and self-loathing in his own acts, and strives to remembered as a true hero. Woody is softer to Bigby most of the time.
