Although we don't know what ⅄ was like before depository, we can get a glance into what he was like during it. ⅄ describes himself in his journal as nice, and through what we see, he does seem to be. He seems to keep up hopes that the other devs will come back for him, and he trusts they wouldn't abandon him, although it is clear he's loosing his hope. It also seems like he's starting to become a bit insane, seeing the void creatures around him and hearing them speak to him or glare at him.
