After the events of Xtale, Cross has lost faith in everything. He's more active than his original counterpart, due to being apart of the royal guard. Yet he's selfish, willing to do anything to bring back his world. Even if it means harming pacifist AU's. He acts arrogant to others and disguted at times. Despite this, he's shown excitement whenever he comes across things he likes, such as chocolate and tacos. Cross is never lazy. He just wants his home back.
