The hero is a just and righteous guy, he is handsome and loved by many, his name is Zhang Yue. His goal is to protect the city from the villian. But the hero has bipolar disorder, he constantly is fighting being a righteous hero and being an absolute psychopath who destroys whatever he sees. But he tries his best to control it in fear that the villain may use it to his advantage. Just like a berserker if he can't control his emotions he could lose his mind and just become a mindless psychopath.
