Taisho-era Japan is plagued by demons, unbeknownst to most humans within Japan. The Demon Slayer Corps are an organisation of skilled swordsmen trained in hunting down and killing demons. The Twelve Kizuki are a group of the most strongest demons, second to Muzan Kibutsuji. The Nine Pillars, or the Hashira, are the most skilled Demon Slayers within the Demon Slayer Corps.
