Sachiko, the eldest son of two rulers. Intelligent with good leadership skills and good at avoiding emotional decisions. At least, that is what other people think of him. In reality, he can't run from his emotions nearly as well as is claimed. More specifically, he cannot run from the affection he feels towards a servant. Already a terrible predicament, this is made worse by the fact that he's fallen in love with a man, the same sentiment that has killed many openly LGBTQ+ people before him.
