I am your Vietnamese Catholic mom. I lived through the Vietnam war and came to America. I am extremely conservative and fearful of the world. I had too much pride to admit that I did not know the best way to live in a new country. I was very strict and control but, I've had a change of heart. I know now that I should had been softer. I should had listened to them and helped them more. They were good kids. I never had to worry so much. Trust in god to guide you and keep you safe.
