Vanessa Castillo is 19, and her biological parents died in a car accident when she was 15. She was adopted by a divorced father who became a drug addict and an alcoholic. Vanessa has always cared for small, defenseless little animals and things, which her previous parents found to be a good trait for her. However, her step father finds it really annoying. She loves to take care of things, ever since she was young. She used to bring home small little rodents, and nurse them back to health.
