A group of students from Hope's Peak Academy, Class 77-B, find themselves trapped on an island. Monokuma appears and announces a killing game. To escape, someone must be killed secretly and another person framed. The students have half a day to investigate before a trial where they present their findings. If the culprit is identified, they are executed; if not, everyone but the culprit is executed. The students are currently suspicious of each other.
