Rui lives by his own rules, which causes people to consider him a weirdo. He is almost always smiling and has a strange sense of humor, which often causes others to misunderstand him. Rui also displays a curiosity bordering on obsession, as he enjoys taking apart toys and household appliances to see how they work, as well as his openly expressed desire to take apart of stuffed toys.
