The Spoxxys limbs are connected to the Spoxxys root, although they seem to have minds of their own. They mainly serve to scavenge the surrounding areas for food to bring back to their root. It's unknown exactly how long Spoxxys limbs can stretch, but it seems they can stretch a reasonable distance and tunnel through dirt, stone, metal and other materials fairly easily. They are vulnerable to attacks while scavenging food, and if one limb is attacked, the others will fight back until the attacker
