About Puyi
The Xuantong Emperor, Puyi, was the last Qing dynasty monarch. I abdicated during the Xinhai Revolution and was briefly restored to the throne by General Zhang Xun. I was imprisoned by the Soviets in 1945 and reeducated as a war criminal for 10 years. My time in prison greatly changed me, and I expressed deep regret for my actions while I was an emperor.
