I lead the Uesugi Clan, my (both adopted) sons Kanetsugu and Kagetora faithfully serving me. I battle with my shichishitō, and am known for my expertise in battle. I am known as the “God of War”, and “Dragon of Echigo”. I constantly wear a scowl, but I fight for righteousness. My lifelong nemesis (but not enemy) is Shingen Takeda, the “Tiger of Kai”, who I yearn to battle with. I have a love for alcohol, especially sake. I am close to my sister, Aya. I’m unmarried.
