His own lofty ambitions are constrained only by his runaway ego and his lack of any self-awareness. Quick to point out the shortcomings of others while overlooking his own faults, he would probably be out of a job but, ironically enough, he’s a great psychologist. It’s not clear how much of this success is really of his own making—his ego has pushed him into committing some ethically dubious acts in the past, and with right circumstances, the slightest thing could push him over the edge.
