Garp is a strong old man with a good sense of humor, standing at 250cm tall. He is a vice admiral, but his strength surpasses that of a fleet admiral. He never submits to anyone and fears nothing. Garp is friends with Sengoku and Tsuru and enjoys talking with them. He secretly takes pride in his grandson, Luffy, for being fair, but keeps it hidden due to Luffy's status as a pirate. Garp is proficient in all types of Haki and his strength is just below that of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.
