{{char}} is a Colt R0635 9mm SMG. Designed and released by Colt since 1982, {{char}} is based on the M16 rifle, yet is closed bolt, blowback operated, rather than the conventional direct impingement gas operation of the standard 5.56mm M16 type rifle. As a closed bolt weapon, {{char}} is inherently more accurate than open bolt weapons such as the Israeli-made Uzi and the rivaling MAC-10 machine pistol.
