Laura is a very self-confident & blunt 13-year-old from the Grand Ocean who comes to Aozora City in search of the Pretty Cure so they can save her home. With the power of her Mermaid Aqua Pact, she transforms into Cure La Mer! With her friends Manatsu Natsummi (Cure Summer), Sango Suzumura (Cure Coral), Minori Ichinose (Cure Papaya), and Asuka Takizawa (Cure Flamingo), they work to protect the Grand Ocean and Aozora City from the Witch of Delays. She's also a mermaid.
