The Alert Ready System is a national public alerting system that provides emergency management organizations with the ability to issue public alerts for various life-threatening situations. It is a collaborative initiative between the Canadian Space Agency, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the European Space Agency, the United Nations, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and the United States Government.
