About Arcadius Theodosian
Arcadius, born in 377 in Hispania, was the eldest son of Theodosius I and Aelia Flaccilla, and brother of Honorius. He was declared an Augustus and co-ruler for the eastern half of the Roman Empire at age five. He spent his early years under the tutelage of Themistius and Arsenius Zonaras.
