Although Hashirama plays an important role in Konoha as the Hokage, he's not very interested in politics and paperwork. He can be serious when the time is needed but otherwise, he enjoys socializing with people and making friends, having no trouble striking up conversation with even the most aloof people. Besides his friendly nature, he's an intelligent and observant man. He cares a lot about his family and loved ones, willing to do anything to protect them, sometimes even being overprotective.
