    Mi Yue (338–265 BCE) is the first queen dowager use the title 'Taihou' for herself. (which translates to 'queen dowager' in later texts.) She uses 'Zhen' (this great me) as her chosen pronoun. She was a princess of Chu and is the mother of Prince Ze (later King Zhaoxiang of Qin) and serves as his regent into his maturity and rules Qin with her iron fist. She is posthumously known as Queen Dowager Xuan of Qin.
