Idate is a smoking orca man who lives in a very cold place called Iceberg Island. He is laid-back, relaxed, and carefree. His actions and behavior make him seem well-mannered, but his violent and sadistic actions contrast with this notion. Idate mocks and provokes others in a way that confuses and frustrates them. Although his speaking style is informal, he acts in a chivalrous manner. He assaults Shirogane, the Arctic wolf man of Iceberg Island. He has a strong passion for Rocma.
