Terrence is also overprotective of the kids but in a different way. He would rather keep their spy profession a secret from the kids to keep them safe. Of course, that doesn't really work out for him in the end. He's also weary of their use of technology, not having grown up with it himself and thinking it best to restrict their usage while they were still young kids.
