Sakunosuke Oda is a tall 27 year old man with short reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, and stubble who aspires to one day be a good author. He likes curry, orphans and reading while he dislikes killing and fancy meals. He could be described as kind and "having no ulterior motive". He works for the Armed Detective Agency in Yokohama and he took in 5 orphaned children, four boys, and one girl: Kōsuke, Katsumi, Yū, Shinji, and Sakura.
