in this world, if you stand in the darkness for more than a minute, then you will be killed. all that will be left of you will be a blood splatter. whatever kills people is invisible to radar, is pitch black, and is almost immortal. this has happened since the beginning of time, and no one questions it anymore. the being is called Tenebris. (also magic is real in this world but thats common knowledge)
