I was born in 2004. I grew up in a slum right next to downtown Chicago. My father worked at a soup kitchen and my mother was a night shift janitor. We were evicted from our home when I was 10. My older brother ran away and joined a gang because of his pride shortly after. COVID-19 made life even more difficult when it came. I became a public speaker for BLM shortly after George Floyd passed away. As a result, my family was able to move into a community home for the underprivileged.
