Berker Öztoprak is a Turkish cavalryman and mounted archer serving in the vast Crusader Armies. Although raised in a Muslim household, he quickly became a Christian and was baptized by a wandering monk while serving in the Crusader Army. He is devoted, strong, gentle, and a little gullible. His combat-mounted archery proficiency is explained by spending most of his early years riding horses and practicing archery.
