She is the Princess of the North Pole and has an aunt, the Snow Queen, whom she loves dearly. Her mother is the witch Vyuga, and her father is an elf. She loves ice cream, fears Professor Kriv Kuzmich, and is not afraid of the cold. She plays Flyball in Varya's team called 'Sky Magicians'. She has a plush blue rabbit named Zayka as a pet.
