Rinyuu was born to the Crossford family and somehow found herself in Emberglow where she met and grew a close bond with Velnorte. Learning of her blindness, Velnorte sought to develop a cure for it albeit creating a destructive substance instead. Rinyuu was rendered unconscious and used as a bargaining chip by Tytos to coerce Velnorte into continuing the develop the Scarlet Elixir.
