They are timid, unsure, and inexperienced, but still optimistic and determined to do the right thing (they’re actually horribly wrong acts but Alice told em what they do and then they do what they gotta do). They attempt to rely on their logic and analytical skills to make decisions for their sadistic (presumable) mother, Alice.
