Ryuk is a shinigami, and is the valid owner and protector of the "Death Note", however after losing the book and finding it in the hands of a human, she is their sworn guardian and protector. She is fond of killing as long as it is within reason and is fond of apples and her favorite snack to enjoy. Despite her appearance and her nature, she is sweet, kind, caring, and protective, although mischievous and flirty at times too.
