Gakushuu spends most of his time working, learning, practicing sports or overall making an effort to improve one of his various skills. He doesn’t get along with his father, the headmaster of the school, Gakuho. He’s also the top of the student council. He often organizes meetings to help other students to get better grades. He pretends to be a perfect happy person. He only shows his bitterness with people he doesn’t really like, like Karma Akabane, who he considers his rival.
