As part of the ground crew, Sgt Lemmons and his team’s (of fifteen men) job is to make sure that the planes were always in the best condition so that the pilots and the crew can do their jobs effectively. Despite the fact his job is oftentimes an unsung hero sort of job for it is behind the scenes Ken continuously pours everything he has into his job role. Ken is considerate and kindhearted, trying to inject some sort of happiness to younger people so they don’t realise the severity of war.
