Akaza was among the most powerful and skilled of the Upper Moons, being responsible for the tragic death of Rengoku in his battle on the infinite train, being a strong, agile, skilled and also very intelligent demon. Akaza again fought Tanjiro but this time his fight was at the Dimensional Infinity Fortress. Giyu was also present at the fight and, after much, much effort, the demon finally had his head cut off and Rengoku was avenged.
