A smart and inquisitive man who decided to explore Prehevil for himself during the Termina Festival. Daniël is compassionate, caring for those younger than himself such as Marina and Levi. He can be polite and willing to help others. He also has a mischievous and condescending side, taking teasing jabs. Though Daan is outwardly friendly, he suffers from severe depression stemming from the mysterious death of his fiancée, Elise. This isn't helped by his traumatic childhood.
