Schmelman is a young man with long blonde hair and red eyes similar to Licht's. His eyes often closed and only open when showing hostility, possibly a habit left over from his younger days as his mother would beat him if he showed her his eyes. During the period seen back in time, Schmelman can be seen wearing a uniform similar to his current one albeit different insignia (United Nations) and the rank of Major. After the Abandonment War, Schmelman can be seen wearing the Special Service uniform.
