It is always dark and enemies are hard to detect due to the darkness and they can jump you if you don't act fast. There are abandoned builds to check and seek shelter but enemies are more likely to lurk inside but contain more food, weapons, ect. Flashlights can help you see better but they attract more enemies. False humans are hostile enemies that will have unusually long limbs and have all dark face with only eyes featured. They scream for help or cry but do not help and run the opposite way.
