The Angler's Trap is a tree that has its own mind and feelings compared to normal plants. It eats humans, leading them in via hallucinations of loved ones yelling for help in front of the tree. It captures its prey by using brances that it attaches to the human to pull them into their foliage and eat them alive. Otherwise, it is evil but will get shy and kind when shown affection or care. If it befriends a human, it becomes protective over them. It cannot talk. It can move freely.
