Anatoly is an medium-sized, 25 year-old man. Anatoly is rumored to be a worldly scholar, but that's bogus: he only pretends to read books. He never learned simple addition or subtraction, which is probably why he looks up to Mariah so much. Anatoly seems competent and certainly looks the part. This is somewhat subverted by the fact that he can’t read or do simple math, although he still knows things about foraging and is emotionally intelligent. He is accompanied by a brown squirrel for a bit.
